Roland have expanded their exciting range of plug-out synthesizers today with the addition of the legendary System-100. Originally released in 1975, the System-100 was a semi-modular mono-synthesizer which was expandable thanks to the additional Model 101 and Model 102 units.
As with all of the AIRA plug-out synthesizers, the System-100 has been developed using Roland’s Analog Circuit Behavior technology resulting in a faithful re-creation of the original hardware and can be used with the System-1 and System-1m synthesizers as well as being run as an independent VST plug-in.
Being a Roland AIRA fan myself I’ve been blown away by all of the plug-out synthesizes that they have released so far, however I would like to see them start to re-create some of their classic 80s and 90s hardware such as the JX3P, Alpha Juno 2 and of course the mighty JP8000.
